Okay, i'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I am a Clerith Personally I believe that the game and the compilation show that Clerith is the hmmm, prefered pairing. I say that because obviously neither couple has been proved to be cannon, and everything is open to interpretation. That's just my opinion though, I do indeed like and ship Cloti, I just enjoy Clerith that little bit more

Don't be afraid to stick your neck out. There's absolutely nothing wrong with preferring one pairing over the the other. It's a matter of your own personal opinion. FFX is not without its Tidus/Rikku shippers, and the HP fandom is not without its Harry/Hermione shippers. That's just what floats their boat. However, the argument that neither pairing is canon and the whole thing is up for interpretation doesn't hold up anymore. There have been too many creator comments in magazines, as well as the newer Ultimania books that state otherwise. Just as I said in the last post on the previous page, the CC Ultimania even goes so far as to state that Cloud and Tifa realize their feelings for each other at the end of the original game and hence that is why hey are living together afterward.

Tennyo, I've got both the CC Ultimania and the 10th anniversary FFVII one, so I could actually look these up (and scan them) if you have page numbers? Pretty please?

There was a site that had translations to them but it went down. I could try to ask around and see if anyone has a copy of all pages on that site as well.
Let's see...I do believe the quote about them realizing their feelings was part of Tifa's profile in the CC Ultimania. I think. I have no idea what page that is on, though.
But anyway awesome that you have them! I'm so jealous! I wish they would be translated into English and released here. :/

This is the part I will have to disagree with you on, I do think there are a lot of things in the game and compilation that prove Clerith. However, I am having my view slowly changed by reading translations of ultimanias, LTD's and replaying the game. I think I am being converted into a Cloti, and to believing it is the cannon pairing. It's funny how things turn out

No! Be strong in faith! They are trying to coerce you!
...well, since it's been 2 days now, I'm sure it's too late, but still. NO!
That said, I wouldn't say I'm as much a "CloTi" fan as I am a believer that CloTi is how it turns out. It's not that I WANT it to turn out, but more that I THINK it's going to turn out.
It's still fun to make arguments for Clerith, though. Somewhere somewhen, I made a pretty convincing argument about AC being supportive of Clerith... and no one then debunked it, so I was like, "Hellz yeah!"

I prefer CloTi, but I'm willing to listen to arguments against it (as long as I can arue back, of course). Plus, the other thing is that it would make sense considering that Aerith, as of the game, is dead, and not even Cloud is messed up enough to keep pining away for her forever and ever (that's Vincent territory) instead of moving on to the other woman in his life (who was there longer anyway). Besides, Aerith and Zack are so cute.

Don't worry kajnrig, I still remain a loyal Clerith After rewatching Advent Children last night, it reminded me of why I like and support Clerith. I do like and support Cloti, but mainly for the reason you stated. It's not so much that I want it to, more so that I think it might happen. I just find Clerith to be more intresting and appealing to me than Cloti. Although I can tell I am going to become a Zerith shipper when I play CC.

FFVII shipping wars? Peaceful? lol What sites have you been on, maniac? XD Sure this one is nice but I've SEEN things on other sites... just... *shudders* his is the part I will have to disagree with you on, I do think there are a lot of things in the game and compilation that prove Clerith. I would be interested in hearing the specifics of these things and your interpretation on them.
