"Hm." Sylla considered this new information. "Definitely sounds paranormal. And that was the only thing you ever saw?"
She glanced over at the Mansion. Even if that was the only thing she had witnessed, it would still warrant a trip over there- if only to check it out.

She spoke quietly, enough for both Steph and Drama to hear her, but not enough to drown and disturb Drama’s conversation on the phone.
“Have you seen anything strange yourself Steph? Like those apparitions for example? Well I was just wondering if ghosts can leave the house they died in. I’m not exactly informed when it comes to these paranormal things. That painting of the house is sinister for example, so their powers must somehow be able to extend outside the house, though to what extend I don’t know. Also these ghosts died from murder, I’m sure they can’t rest in peace.”
So one of the ghosts was a man, she wondered who else had died in that mansion.

Steph's face paled sightly. "I met Drama because I tried to sneak into that house and ran out screaming," she whispered fearfully. "I didn't see anything, but someone started talking to me. It might've just been my imagination or something though!" she said brightly, but it was obvious that she doubted it.

"Nuh uh", said Dramaya in response to Sylla, automatically shaking her head even if Sylla couldn't see her. "I've seen more things than that, more... apparitions. They're never as distinct as that man was, but... I thought I saw a little girl once, a long time ago. I can't be so sure, because it was gone in a second." Dramaya paused. "Why are you asking me this? Do you want to get inside the Maverick Mansion too?" Really, how many more people was she going to meet today who wanted nothing more than to enter that creepy place?
As she waited for Sylla's answer, she instantly became distracted by Steph telling Josephine of the time she had been inside the Maverick Mansion. Although it had been only a year after Dramaya had moved in, the memory still gave her the chills: hearing a distant scream, and then seeing a young girl her age rush out of the mansion gates.

"Actually, I'm a paranormal photographer, Sylla responded. "Everyone I tried to talk to about that mansion clammed up on me, though- so thanks, you've made my job a heck of a lot easier, Dramaya. Well, I won't keep you." She ended the call and passed the phone back to Nick, exitement fluttering in her stomach.
"Did you get what you wanted?" he asked. She nodded.
"Thanks for your help, Nick," she said. "I'll be seeing you, then." She turned to leave. She'd make the necessary preparations, then come back to see whether the Maverick Mansion truly lived up to its name.

...I'm posting because this topic needs to be revived. Badly. And wow, you can access the Internet from the Wii? I had no idea it was capable of that too...
-----
"You're welcome, Sylla", Dramaya was just able to say before the connection was cut. Sighing a little, she closed the cell phone and handed it back to Steph. "Her name's Sylla", she told them, at their inquiring expressions. "She's a paranormal photographer, and she wanted to know more about the mansion. Also... I think she too wants to get inside the Maverick Mansion."

I'll post!

"Sounds interesting," Steph said dryly. "Lemme guess, she wanted to know all about the mansion so she could take pictures and become famous right?"
She shook her head sadly. "Drama's had a couple people do that before, Josie," she explained.

Nicholas called out to Sylla. "Hey do you need anybody to accompany you to Maverick Mansion? With all the stuff people talk about, having another person around sounds like a good idea."

“And have any of these photographers managed to find anything? You know, since we are heading towards Dramaya’s house and the mansion, maybe we could see this Sylla person at work? She might be able to find something…interesting.” Josephine was hopeful. Something told her her chance was now or never.

"I guess we could talk to her," Steph said haltingly. She ran her hand through her short borwn hair. "She might have some good information for you Drama. And you too, Josie. Maybe she could help you with that picture." She glanced at the picture and shivered slightly.

"Thanks for the offer, Nick... I suppose if you want to come along, there's no reason I should stop you," she smiled. "But if something dangerous happens, we should both get out ASAP. I've been in more sticky situations than most people, and I don't want another for the record just yet, got me?" She paused. "I have to go get some stuff, but I'll be back in about a hour. In the meantime, get ready."

Nicholas' eyes burned with excitement. This is it! This is the moment I've been waiting for! Finally, I get discover the truth about Maverick Mansion.
Nick ran back to his house. The excitement was almost too much for him to handle. Two years. Two years of standing in front of that house waiting for something to happen. Two years of learning about Maverick Mansion and ghosts. I can finally put all that I've learned to good use.

Dramaya sighed. This was exactly the situation she had feared: that people would want to intrude on the Maverick Mansion. She had lived there long enough to know that those bad vibes she got from the place weren't just imaginary, even if it made her question her sanity. Perhaps she was overreacting, but her motto was 'better safe than sorry'.
"I..." She heaved a breath. "I don't think anybody should enter the Maverick Mansion. At all. I might've only heard stories about that place, but it's enough for me to say that the spirits there... could be dangerous. I think they might do more than simply come up in your ear and say, 'boo!' I can't ignore the bad feelings I've felt towards it ever since I started living there."

Steph nodded. "You're right Drama. We should stop them. They could get hurt, or they could get killed. Who knows with Maverick Mansion, right?"
She gave her friend a weak smile. "So what do we do?"
