That's very sad. The author in question have every right to be p****d off (if he wants to) and kill someone. I would've.

Sorry Kysic dear, the fic I was talking about was among those deleted from FF.Net by the apocolypse known as the lemon ban a long time ago. Sadly, that fic was not even a lemon- and its author is now retired from fanfiction because so many of his other works were deleted too. His stories were deleted because he was a very gifted action writer and his scenes were some of the most violent I've ever read. That sucks. Now I have another reason to mad at the staff. I may not of been around when NC-17 fanfics were around, but I think they shouldn't of been deleted. I'm not too into lemons, but I think our freedom of the press (I think that's what it's called) should not be taken away. I at least wish they kept some of the violent fanfics. Arg! Why did they have to get strict with the rules!? ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) Sorry, I've been kind of weird lately. I've noticed I've been more sensitive than usual. I just don't understand how staff can put so many rules. What's really irratatd me is that it's against the rules to use song lyrics even if you leave a disclaimer. Youtube let's us USE songs for AMVs and that's worse than using it in a story because the music company can lose money out of youtube. About Sephy, I have to say I kind of like him. I'll admit when I first saw him in KH that I thought was handsome. But I don't care about him too much when it comes to fanfics unless it's really good or I like the idea or plot in it. About the Turks, I'm not too into the Turks but there are some fanfics about them I love. One of my favorites is We're Taking the Stairs by Cookiekitten.

I've beaten him on KH 1 more than once and even beaten him on KH 2 on expert level. It takes practice, but it's worth it, even if he fights a lot more dirty in KH 2 ;D.

WARNING!!! SPOILER ON HOW TO BEAT SEPHY IN KH 2!!!
One easy way to beat him is to raise your drive levels with some training to learn some helpful abilties. In my opinion, you have to be at a really high level to beat him, especially if you play him on expert level. Try training clear to level 99 if possible. He was almost too easy to beat once I got that strong ;D. It may seem like cheating to fight him at level 99, but in expert level it really helps. After all, he really fights dirty. Another thing you need to beat him is a LOT of high potions and ethers and experience with casting cure. If your magic gauge is full when he tries to drain all your MP and HP, make sure you cast cure RIGHT before your life gets drained. This will both help save hi potions and will help prevent you being in a vunerable state. Curing takes good timing.
I got some more advice to beat him, but I think I'm telling you too much already. I don't know if you want help or not so I'm ending it here unless you want more advice.

I only got a little more advice. I don't know for sure if it's guranteed to be accurate because you probably fight differently than me. Results may vary, depending on how Sephy reacts to what you do. It's been ages since I last fought him, so I'll try to remember what I did as much as possible. Another thing that might help is to know how to use guard. You should at least practice with this a little before fighting him. DON'T rely on it! Just use it when you're in a position that can't evade the attack. You can even use it even if it's not needed as long as you don't rely on it, but you should be catious about using it.
A much better way to keep him from hitting you is to hit him as much as possible. If you keep hitting him, it'll make it hard for him to fight back. Remember one thing, though. You should still be careful because he can still strike back even if you keep hitting him rapidly. This works better on the ground. It's sometimes better to him in the air because it's easier to launch more hits, but it's easier for him to strike back in this position. If he launch you in the air, try to drop to the ground at a little whenever you get the chance in case he tries to teleport away from you and launch a series of strikes. After all, you got to be ready to use the reaction button to counter this attack.
Whenever he poofs in front of you, you should try to be the first one to strike so you can get more hits to him and it'll make it more difficult for him to attack you. He still might hit you a few times, though. If he teleports far away from you, you should normally keep your distance, especially if your HP is running low and you're still charging your MPs. Always keep a close eye on him. If he's far away, it's often a good time to heal yourself, but you got to remember to be quick and careful with timing. Whenever he's far away, you can use it to be ready for the reaction command or if he tries to sneak up on you by teleporting at a random place.
ALWAYS keep a close eye on your HP. If possible, try not to even let it get close to being low, especially when you're far in the battle.
When he gets to the point where he does a bunch of crazy attacks like throwing dark balls at you (he does it when his HP gets pretty low) try hitting him even despite the dark balls, but make sure you at least get rid of a couple of dark balls by hitting them. This battle challenges wits more than most other things, so you may have to use instinct to beat him at this state.
He also goes through a stage where he attacks a LOT more rapidly. This is where you have to be REALLY quick and attack him as much as possible. You also need to be REALLY quick with using cure and items.
The last advice I can give you is that it's REALLY important to be patient and catious through out the battle. Rushing can make you dig your own grave.
I hope this helps. I wish I can offer more, but it's been so long since I last defeated him, so I forgot a lot of stuff. I don't know if this helps much because I might fight differently than some people. My advice might not help you sometimes because I think this battle is more about experience and instinct than stragedy. Just try to do what you got to do. It REALLY helps if you train yourself to a high level. It takes some time and patience, but he's more easy to beat when you get strong enough, especially if your at level 99. Remember, I was at level 99 when I beaten him last time on expert level, so your situlation might be more tense than mine was. I wish you good luck on beating him.

Okay, I tried yesterday, about 17 000 times. I do use guard, which works really well if your timing is correct (and it's is ever better if you set the ability to strike back automaticly when guarding. Only works in air, though). Also, my Sora is stronger in the air than on ground, so I try to fight him there. But hey, the b*****d is teleporting around, making it difficult to finish the combo.
One problem is that I can only have 6 (5?) potions and one ether, and MP takes ages! Especially when he does the dirty thing with draining both MP and HP.
I just have to love the ability to have 1 HP left if he makes a combo <3
I'm only at level 58, unfortunately, but I'm trying to raise it.

LOL... I'm still not sure how we got on the KH Sephiroth topic on a Turk thread.... But I've beaten Seph in both KH and KH2, but I never tried it until I got up to 96th level. Fenrir is by far my fave keyblade. ^_^ *huggles it*

Um, just IMO, I don't think training up to level 99 is really a 'easy' way to beat Sephiroth. Leveling up is the most basic way of beating a enemy in an RPG game and has been around since the birth of RPG.
Challenge for anyone interested: Try and beat Sephiroth in KH1 at lv.50 with the Kingdom Keyblade.
Oh, and Rude rules, just so as to not be too off topic.

When I'm reading Artemis Fowl sometimes I picture Butler as Rude. Glad to hear I'm not the only one that does that. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I'd have to go with Tseng. To me he just seems the epitome of Turk-ness: trained, precise, level-headed, intelligent, imposing, cultured, able to take someone out at a thousand feet (or more). And he's handsome in a more classical kind of way, which is always points for the plus in my book. I actually almost chose Rude, though, because he's just so great (see all of the above reasons). And he isn't overly chatty. =D

Look at my pen-name huns!!!!
Go Reno! I love him - not sure why; but he just makes me grin. He gets stuck with a lot of the tough and dirty missions(sector 7), but he just smirks and gets on with it in his own way - he's cráiced really!(Cráic means fun/humour in the Irish language incase ye're wonderin what I'm on about!) That having been said - he does seem to be kinda clueless at time - but that just seems to add to his charm really! My fan-girlness aside now; he is quite the talented individual also; a competant helicopter pilot and an ace at martial arts - what's not to like about Reno?

I was kind of upset about what they did to him in AC. They kind of made him... stupid. I love him to death, but he was a very cool character in VII, but AC kind of... did something to a bit of his awesomeness. I think it had to do with the change from what he was to a comic relief character.
I still love him to death, as I've stated but still...

I know what you mean hun - in the game he was a cynical and laidback secondary antagonist - something that kinda contrasts with the way he is in AC - okay; they're all on the same side in AC, but him and Rude are just portrayed as comic relief - which is a little bit of a waste in my view as i really love Reno's origingal character......have to admit though;"your ma's cool - what the hell am I sayin!" had me in the knots.
Reno still rules!
