Neither do I. However, search for the video maker "littlekuriboh" either on youtube or dailymotion OR, go to his website at yugiohtheabridgedseries.com/He does amazing parodies of the episodes that are surprisingly close to what the episodes /actually/ are about (albeit abridged), and LK also imitates all the American dub voices extremely well, too. Even if you hate yugioh, it's completely worth watching out of sheer hilarity. He even abridged the movie.

I used to write stories when I was as young as nine or ten, but my first actual fanfiction (although I didn't even know it was called fanfiction back then, I was just writing it on a notepad for fun) would have been either Techno Man, Mario Kart or Pokemon (where I would write myself and a few friends as Pokemon trainers). This was back in Primary school, so I don't remember which came first. Final Fantasy and the Internet got me into the world of fanfic writing, though.

I got into fanfiction in late 1999. I found a website (that has since disappeared sadly) called "Oh No Not Another Final Fantasy VII Webpage!" It was there that I first read Final Fantasy VII fanfiction and eventually found a link to that crazy place known as Fanfiction.net. I'd been writing stuff for years but FFN opened up a whole new world for me. By early 2001, I was posting stuff and six years later I'm still at it ^_^

I've been on FF.net for so long that I remember when all of my actively writing friends had shorter ID numbers than me. Now I hang around and notice that I have the one of the shortest ID numbers that's still active... I miss the old days-, so many people left FF.Net because of the mass deletion of everything M+ rated.... Ginger, do you remember when FF.Net wiped out all those stories?
I lost a lot of stories because of that- but not all my deletions were lemons. I tend to write character deaths very graphically and I lost three well loved crossovers and five one shots that were all quite violent too...
I was on vacation when the ban was carried out so I wasn't able to back up any of the stories that were about to be deleted- I almost dropped out of fanfiction completely, but MediaMiner kept me company for a few years until I finally came back to my senses.

I remember a lot of people dropping out back then. Though I strongly disagree with the decision to delete all those stories, at least the site isn't overrun with those horrible lemon stories anymore. Not that I have anything against sex scenes, but the image of Cloud and Nanaki...
Let's just say it's not an image I'll be able to be rid of for a long, long while.
Since then though, I've always kept a backup of anything I've written, just in case the site goes mad with the delete button again.

Haha! Well, bestiality is just wrong... I've never read anything with it in there because it's just completely disgusting. I have written many- MANY lemons and I'm not going to stop writing them anytime soon, but I post them typically on MediaMiner. Yeah, I have everything I'm writing on disks now as well as the hard drives of two different computers. Nice to see another old and wise vet of the fanfiction world still hanging around in this fandom, Daze. ;D

Valtaya - Yeah, I remember the old NC17/M+ days of FFN. I had a few horror stories removed. I definitely didn't mourn the loss ^^; The stuff I wrote way back then was not pretty Heck, I remember FFN in the days before the chapter system, when everything had to be uploaded separately.

Wow, I feel like such a n00b compared to you guys. XD
I'm quite glad that I never knew ff.net in its NC-17 days actually. I don't want to imagine all the bad lemons that must have been posted there.

Hee hee... Yeah, Ginger, I forgot all about those days- but then, I have a good excuse for that... Back then I never posted anything because the system was so absurdly unorganized. I'm so glad that FF.Net tries to keep up to date on its display system. ^_^

Pied - Believe me, FFN today is NOTHING like it once was. The Real Person stuff was downright bizarre. And there was a lot of very scary stuff to be found for sure. Not that there isn't scary stuff still, but at least all the fanfiction based on boybands has gone.
Valtaya - I know what you mean! It kinda makes you wonder why they didn't come up with the chapter system in the first place.

ROFL the boy band fics- yeah those were a genre that I can't imagine... I dunno if it's really gone or not (I never read any of it), but it OUGHT to be!! Yeah, there was some scary, scary stuff around here, once upon a time- now to post it they have to hide the wierd stuff, better than they used to. ^_^

Oh honey, whatever you do don't look around LiveJournal too much I joined up with the Fanfic 100 quite a while ago now and there are people who write fanfiction involving sports people. I mean, whatever floats your boat but that's really not my thing ^^;

I joined up with the Fanfic 100 quite a while ago now and there are people who write fanfiction involving sports people. I'd like to write a fic about Micheal Vick getting the asswhopping of a lifetime from a certain red furred wolf/tiger with one eye... ;D But,*sigh* unfortunately, I already know damn well that that wasn't the kind of "fanfiction" you were meaning!! Whatever floats your boat indeed. Writing fanfiction about real people- that's wierdly creepy- some authors out there really scare me...

And I'd love to see David Beckham go up against Cloud but alas, such a thing will never occur (because Beckham knows he'd lose!).
The Internet is both an amazing and a terrifying place. I'm just glad places like this exist so GOOD writing can be found.
