I just went here, though I suppose that's really still a video... I don't really remember what I did; 'twas a while ago. :p

Mini-update - just wanted to say, we're cleared for: Family Portrait, Hardscrabble, Butterfly Effect, Mercenaries, Rendezvous, The Tea Party, The Greatest Story Ever Told: A Sephiroth Fanfic, there are three words in 'i love you', Look My Way, and White Carnations. (@pen: I didn't send you an email because I felt silly. You're alright with us completely ruining dubbing A Fine Line, right? =D) Also, anyone who wants to use their vocal chords in this project: LOOK HERE! (Please do this, will make life much easier for all of us.) Anyway, I figured we should probably figure this stuff out now. We're going to need people to: -convert the stories into script format -have a group to look through auditions and collaborate on who gets what part -maybe another person or two to mix lines? I said I'd do it, and I will, but I also figured that everything would run a lot faster if there was maybe one or two others putting the lines together as well as myself. Uhh, I can't really think of much else, those are the major three categories. If we can start getting groups together to work on this stuff, we could be ready to start accepting auditions in a week or two. Dattebayo!

I *want* to help out and totally will - AFTER I get this stuff taken care of here. XD I did want to suggest that if we're going to narrate The Tea Party that Mengde be offered it. It's creepy and right up his alley.

Alrighty, we're cleared for almost every single story (EXCEPT for Reno's Story, which has yet to elicit a response from Bethgael - I left a note on her website; does anyone have her email? EDIT: so sorry, this completely slipped my mind; we also don't have permission for The Performance Evaluation of Leonard Wangtabulous from Kadrin). For mixing, I think Clan Dragoon and I have it covered, but if anyone else is good with audio, extra help would be awesome. Otherwise:
We still need volunteers for script writing and judging on the auditions panel.
Here's how it works!
1) Script Writing - I wrote the Hardscrabble script to upload as an example, but it is unfortunately saved on my unplugged computer at home. Basically, what one would do to 'write' a script would be to separate the story into single lines and label them by number and character name. Not very hard, but slightly time-consuming; I can write an example and PM it to ya'll who want to do this, because you totally want to do this, right? =D There are fifteen stories to do. Honestly, if you want to volunteer but can only crank out one story, then please notify me anyway - that's one less story, right?
2) Auditions Panel - After the deadline for the auditioning process for actual voice parts has passed, I'll forward the recordings to the audition-judges - there could be from twenty auditions to sixty. The judges will listen to each person, pick their choices with some guidelines (basically, who sounds most like the original and if they have good mic quality), compile a list of their decisions, and then as a team (on MSN? AIM?) ultimately decide who gets what part. I was thinking maybe four or six people, besides myself? That way there is an uneven number and there won't be any ties.
Hopefully, this doesn't sound like too much - the script writing only has to have it done by the time the parts have been casted, and the job of audition-judge should only take a week, though it can be extended for two at most. 'Tis quite possible that we could get this off the ground within less than a month. =) So, any volunteers?

I'll help in script writing, La - I 'd just need a basic idea of what you want.
PM, e-mail - doesn't matter, just an example. I have tons of free time during school days.

Quick note on this - is anyone willing to sign up to judge the auditions? There were a few posts (Jeanne and Mo, I'm totally looking at ya'll >3) on the first pages, but just thought I'd ask. I was thinking of setting up the audition period so that the week to judge would span over spring break (when is it for you all? I think it may be the same week, but I could be wrong), so that way people would have time to volunteer if they want. Yay, nay? It'd be really, really nice if anyone would be willing to make a script of just one winning story, as well - right now, it's only me and Ra-ra. I'm going to start recruiting if this post doesn't elicit any responses. YOU ARE NOT SAFE. La will be coming after YOU. <3

If you guys can put your heads together and give me the week that the judging is taking place, then I can inform you better whether or not I am available for judging. I just need to know if I have any papers/midterms/life altering commitments I need to be looking after at that time. I'm quite willing to help out, but unfortunately, school comes first.

I'm not entirely sure I'd be able to help judge. I've got a short attention span and I don't know if listening to people talk would keep me entertained. I can always try though! *hasnolifeeither*

Assuming these are in June (when winners are announced) then yeah I can definitely help out - just not right now, or not until the end of May (when ze school finishes).
