Oh, I might as well ask here. I'm entertaining similar ideas as Capt. In that Balthier just fell down and landed smack-bang on Ink's guy (with the cards, right?) I'm perfectly willing to get rid of it if there's big objections, but personally I think it'd get a few more people met up, and help with the plot later on. I think good-guys-being-bad could work like badass, I mean, Balthier is likely to be a bit 'sup, causin trubble? Kool.' (but you know, in character ) You know what might be cool? Some sort of ultimate bad guy that everyone writes, like he/she has a name, and anyone can do an entry of him/her.

Ink: Hey, I can totally be an Original Villain guy if you want.^^ We'd have to find a way for your OC to fit in, though (possibly being friend/son of theirs, or something?). Or, otherwise:
Fear: It'd be pretty interesting if everyone could write the bad guy- but I'm not sure if it would make for total chaos. Why don't we hear some other opinins? (This means I have no opinion.)

I think we should stick to just one person writing the bad guy. It'll be chaotic otherwise.

I also have a question. Cecil's world isn't included, and he used to be a Dark Knight, so I was thinking about introducing him as an antagonist. Have him deluded or totally devastated at the loss of his world that he takes up the dark sword again. He could be a minion of Ink's or totally screwed by his lonesome. What do you think? If Cecil the Lunarian becomes tortured by the evil in his blade, then he'd make for an excellent antagonist. He used to work for the good guys, after all, and would be sensitive to whatever is causing the dimensional rifts. You know why? He fought an evil that originated from said rifts. I recall Diablos, a GF of VIII, "refined" Time/Space Magic, as it served as one of his domains. This makes him an integral part of the story because the cause is described as a temporal/dimensional shift... something this creep's an expert on. He's definitely a hardcore devil, and also used the "Darkside" power (which operated similarly to Cecil's Dark Sword) and the power to "Mug" creatures. He was also sneaky through his Encounter-Half and Encounter-None powers. With all this in mind, I would not mind at all to play him. I just hope nobody has a problem with someone taking up roles of GF; they tend to exist in multiple planes at once--perhaps through some manner of bi-location--so they chat with the adventurers when given the chance. Would a good speaking relationship give away information about the other worlds as a result? Suppose Tifa heard a yarn from Shiva about Yuna (think "Thoughts of an Ice Spirit" by Pied, folks), and then when the two of them meet, there's this uncomfortable silence between them. Incidentally I considered introducing a mostly original character named Baron Grims. He led the Black Sheep Knights of Zeltennia, Ivalice. He allegedly got killed in action, but history says too little about him for someone creative to utterly tamper with the timeline. Hell, I want Delita, Olan, and Balmafula involved in this hellfire at some point. If Aerith got a second chance through the extent of the temporal tampering, perhaps others would share in this? Also, would others die through the tampering as well? Beyond being stranded in a dream-like environment, there naturally must be a push or element of suffering on part of the protagonists for us to despise the villains. I listen to too much Dragonforce, man... I intend to mess around here on an epic level.

We already got everyone who isn't a character dead inside monsters. Me and Fear have a rather nasty little plan regarding that as it happens....
Stay tuned.

Well, that would make for one looong RP. Okay, so my thoughts on this: Since Daze/Cloud is not here, it would work, and it might be a good explanation as to why he's NOT HERE. [/apoplexy] So yeah, it might work. Oh, a thought! Since Ink stated previously she didn't want to be the main villain, we have to have some way for Treyia to fit into the story. (Did I spell it right this time, Ink?) So we could have him be the son or whatever of the new/ultimate OC villain (who's currently up in her castle talking to Sephiroth) and have him have a certain power to bend the rules of space/time. Just enough to go back and rescue someone, incidentally. XD So I dunno, I think I'll have Sephiroth be good this time, because no FFVII Gaia=no Jenova=Sephiroth no likey. So, he can somehow get the info about this from the villainess (and she would tell him because she just doesn't give a damn or intends to kill him anyway), barely escapes with his life, and has to somehow convince the FFVII guys that he's not the guy to pulverise this time round. Then they have toknock some sense into Balthier, and get Treyia to help them (through threats, probably). I think I'll have Sephiroth meet up with the FFX guys first, actually. Then later they can be like, "Why are you attacking our ally Sephiroth?!" and the FFVII guys will be "'Cause he nearly destroyed our planet, that's why, now out of the way!"

Yes, you did spell it right ;D Well, I guess he could be a son or whatever to Miss Antagonist. But I dont want him to turn into a good guy. He detests everything and everyone who can move, after all. Treyia would only help them fix the mess is he knew he would die otherwise.
And please, with the bad girl vs. Sepiroth, don't make it something lame, like "I can tell you all my plans and weaknesses since I'm going to kill you" (like the bad guys always do in James Bond) that just pisses me off.

It could be because of total vanity, as in 'you want to know how awesome I am - THIS awesome' (but yunno, in evilness) I LOVE the idea of Treyia having the power to rescue people, because he's so cruel and it would totallywork! Yeah, I reckon I'm going to kill Fran and send B crazy, then he may/may not shoot Penelo (only wing her, though) upon meeting up with the gang - because of his craziness naturally. although I don't mean crazy as in 'oh now he's just plain insane so he can be evil', which would kinda suck, what I mean is B would be all 'I really don't give a f*ck now, so f*ck it all Fran's gone what is the f*cking point in anything? (etc...) then someone(s) beat the nuts out of him and he'd be all 'I don't care, at least I have a blind chance of seeing Fran if I die...it's better than nothing' and Treyia could sorta go 'I might be able to bring her back, yunno?' Or whatever I'm cool.

Ahah, don't worry, I was just throwing it out as a rough guide for consideration. The 'bad guy tells the good guy his plans the tries to kill the giood guy and FAILS' thing is so totally cliche I would have to go bang my head against the wall. I'd probably just have her tell him and be like "Now shoo, I can't be bothered with you and you're too insignificant for me to notice anyway as you can't do anything about it." Or something like that. And when Balthier goes nuts, Treyia could say (after B gets pummeled by the rest of the guys) "Ha, I could probably go get her, too bad I don't give a damn." Then Balthier would demand for him to take him/them back. Treyia would be all "What's in it for me?" Then it would be really cool if Vincent says something like, "We let you live, that's what's in it for you." Cause that's a very Vincent-y line, and of course they wouldn't want the son of the villainess going around with them for no reason, would they? Oh, how I ramble. But anyway, that's the gist of it.

Nice, I like, especially the Treyia 'too bad I don't care' XD It IS a very Vincent'y line, which makes it so fortunate that I'm Vincent WOO! Character hogging pays off XDYeah, it would probably be a lot of awesome if there was a big Balthier Vs. rest of world fight - he'd get the nuts beaten out of him... but it's be all like the Dr. Cid battles XD (Omg! I could even quote Dr. Cid!)

Also is there anyone else 'we' want to appear specifically transformed/dead?

Hmm, I just thought about something... should Treyia be aware of his powers now? And that he is a son, whatever, to Miss Antagonist (yes, I'm going to call her that 'til I know her name)?

Oohh, that's tricky...he could a) know them and just not tell, b) discover then somehow, c) be told about them by Seiproth/Mamma Not very helpful I know...hm, he's your character, what do you think?
