1. Keep all your posts' content appropriate, polite and civil. Be aware that some - if not most - boards are available to the public and hence, to the general audience. Avoid offenses in your avatars and signatures as well as posts.
2. Take care to ensure your post can be read. Do not use textspeak or an excessive amount of formatting, imaging and smilies.
3. Your post should relate to the RP that it is being posted within. Don’t post something completely random, or you will be asked to change it.
4. There will be no illegal activity happening in the RP.
5. This was already partially covered in rule #1, but there will be no lemons. This site is open to the public, and we do not want to get a bad reputation.
6. If there is an argument over a certain role in the RP, I will be the one to decide who gets the role. I am warning you now. If you already have the role in a different RP, don’t expect to get the role in an argument.
7. Please post RP ideas in the RP Idea thread. I will approve storylines and ratings, but I will probably allow most of the ideas.
8. If you agreed to have a part in the RP, please be fairly active. The other members of the RP aren’t going to want to wait for excessive amounts of time for you to post. It isn’t fair on the other people participating in the RP.
9. If you have agreed to be a part of an RP, please stick to the storyline. We don’t need a story rambling on with random ideas unless it was meant to be that way.
10. This also relates to rule #1. If your character swears a lot (like Cid, for example), please use symbols to symbolize it or put the first letter followed by a symbol (ex. $*%# or s***). We wouldn’t want them to be out of character after all.
11. Make sure that you RP as your character only. Although you may feel inclined to spin a story your way with your character, you have no control over someone else's RP character. Don't write on behalf of other people, as it may cause unnecessary confusion.
12. Also ensure that your post is of a suitable length. Avoid huge chunks of description and a very long winded approach to the RP. On the other hand, make sure you post more than a line or a single sentence.
13. And most importantly, enjoy yourselves.
