Sai hush Jeanne doesn't want spoilers! Be nice to Jeanne!
What I'm working on is crack-like. I don't think I know how to write a serious story. I'm not a very bouncy person and it makes it hard to write them. Curse my lack of motivation! Anyway I won't rant because I could probably go on and on and on.

I was giving away spoilers? Oops? I didn't know. MOst people here don't read anyway. I'll try to watch out for doing that, like telling you that next chapter we get to meet Cait-- oh, that counts as a spoiler, right?

AGH! Cait Sith it burns. Does he by chance get tortured mercilessly at some point Sai? It's okay, I'm teasing you on the spoilers! Well I guess its semi-spoiler like.

hahaha poor Jeanne. SaI, she's a new member, be nice! ;P I operate on the same assumption, so possible spoilers for Full Circle here: Next chapter/one-shot centers around that one phrase- "Isn't it time you do the forgiving?" (I usually hate the English dubbed version, but "Yurushite agetara?" doesn't work so well...) But in this case, it's Cloud's turn to let go of his grudge against Shinra. Sub-plot is probably too sappy for you jaded GA members, but it has to do with building a family. And the title is one of my favourites so far: "Level Up."

I sense merciless Cait Sith torturing in future chapters Sai! Merciless, and I will enjoy every moment of it.

That sounds good, Burst. Care to elaborate? (I don't read het often, but I like hearing about other people's work. It's fun!) Level up does sound like a good name.
And I can't pick on Jeanne? No fun. It's so exciting to get her riled up about things.
As for Cait, that would count as a spoiler. But you know what, I think you need to know that yes, Cait will have a very unfortunate, stabbity torture.

I was unaware I get riled up about things Sai, unless of course you catch me ranting about something in a review. YES! Stabbity torture for the Cait Sith! I don't mind Sai messing with me, after all my reviews are probably ten times more annoying!

Hay gaiz I got Yuffie meeting and getting into PIRATICAL HIJINKS ( (c) Jack Sparrow) in chapter ten of The Need to Know.
Do you realize how fun this is to write?

I'm going to imagine that it's freaking hilariously fun to write, right? I will need to see how that works out-- I mean, Yuffie with pirates? Is it going to be the debate of ninja vs pirates?

No, I decided to forgo the Ninjas V. Pirates thing, considering Jack Sparrow probably doesn't know what the ef ninjas are. But there ARE references to the PotC movies in this chapter, and I'm having tons of fun writing hers and Jack's dialogue.
Next up, she gets to meet Hades. Woohoo!

Need To Know is, like, THE ONLY STORY I will read in which Yuffie is paired with Axel or Reno. I'm not really into it otherwise. OMFGLOVETHATSTORYSOMUCHICOULDEATAJAMSANDWICH. Umm, ummm, stories... stories-stories-stories. Oh, gawd. Where do I even start? I'm one of those horrible authors who gets what they think is an awesome idea and they get all gung-ho about it and they slave away on it for hours and hours and days with little food and sunlight and then forget about it in favor of a new idea. Gawd. Like, I have this story that I have the first couple chapters done on. Its called Redemption - my summary for it is this: "And this is what happens when Vincent survives the Heartless, too, at the cost of something precious to himself and Yuffie, forcing them to journey together to find what shouldn't be gone in the first place. Or, more simply put, how Yuffie does something that isn't expected of her. She and Vinnie pay the price. Of paopu fruit, materia, and missing pieces of broken hearts." Basically, it's this whole 'what-if' on Vincent making it into KH. What I have for it is, generally, that both he and Yuffie end up accidentally getting their hearts split in half, so they have to look for them and go on a bunch of adventures and some things are funny and some things are sad and in the end Pinnochio's Blue Fairy gives them their hearts and it was my first ever attempt at writing Yuffie and I wanttorewriteitbecauseitisBAD. (Ask Tasha. She'll agree.) And then I have this one story I thought up called 'Camarilla,' which is a X fic about a sort of under-plot going on during the pilgrimage. I spent a lot of time on the idea, and I'm actually fairly proud of it - I have the mechanics worked out - and I'll admit that I was really moved by Soldier of Spira, so I wanted to try my own conspiracy story. I'm on chapter two, I think, and I was real hyped up for it when I thought it up because I came up with it based on the plot, not the pairing. (I'm sorry. I plead guilty to doing that sometimes aka too much to be healthy.) And theeen everything got shoved aside when my brainchild sputtered out something new that my muse (I call him Mr. Duckie) demanded I write. It's called Oceans Fall Into Skies, for FFVII, and is a Yuffentine. Without a way to really string all the ideas I have for this one together, I'm making it a sort of tribute to the original FF. (You'll see in a sec.) My basis for this is that Chaos is slowly taking over Vincent, and he more or less has trouble fighting back. What I've come up with, after researching the original game, is that every 2000 years Chaos goes back into time to send the 'Four Fiends' forward - this is that time, and Vincent knows what Chaos is planning and what the Fiends will do when they get there (aka cause pain/suffering/DEATHDESTRUCTIONCHAOSBWAHAHA.) Buuut I'm having a little trouble with the time paradox and what I need for the end to wrap up without everyone forgetting what happened. Oi. I look at how much I've written and feel... narcissisistic. Narcisstic. Narcisistic. Fullofmyself D:

Bah, busy writer is good writer, La editor I was frightening woodster the other day with how much I've written in a bit over a year's activity as a writer (I started not long after final fantasy XII came out, and have about 41 stories posted on my ff.net account and probably about five more on various areas of the internet, adds up to 200'000 odd words or summant ) As for me, I'm sorta working on chapter four of Arrythmia (the Gakuen Alice drama/romance plot), have half a GA songifc based on 'promiscous girl' (no idea why), and the beginning of PWP-y fangirl indulgance, which I may/may not finish depending on my mood However, recently I just finished all of the gokusen manga that's avaliable, and (SHIIIIN) I love it so d**n much the ideas are almost relentless, I really want to write one that'll be called 'Ink' or 'inked' and will be about tattooing and my favorite pairing along with getting rid of the love rival in the process XD best kind of fanfic!. I've also got requests from one reviewer and indications from other readers that I should take one of the ideas from one of my collections of stories and turn it into a proper character-story (AU), but I don't really want to shift away from Arrythmia just yet.

I'm writing...something.
I don't really want to talk about the plot so much, because I'm still ironing out details in my mind so that the story doesn't become cliche. But once I've got a solid few chapters banged out I'll talk more. XD

So I have this FFX story that I've been cooking up forever, and I haven't yet gotten a solid plot down because I have PROMISED myself that I will finish The Need to Know before I do anything else.
But I wanna tell you guys what I have about it to see what you think, so here goes:
Rikku dies, suddenly and without warning, and the story opens with her coming back to cognizance in a white void. Who appears but Auron (yes, it will be an Aurikku, sorry if you just hate this pairing, but I want to see if I can do it realistically and besides, that's not the point of this story), and he tells her she's dead. She doesn't immediately believe him, but goes along with it because she's not sure what's happening. He leads her out a door and suddenly they find themselves in a massive city filled with cars and, well, it's rather like modern-day commodities on Earth (like cars and TVs which are called SphereSets).
Auron informs her that this is, in fact, the Farplane, which is a world in and of itself, and they are in Arrival Square, where everyone comes when they die and move to the other side. Because of this being the arrival point, a ginormous city has been erected there because lots of people just choose to settle in the immediate vicinity.
So Auron supposes he ought to take her to the nearest place, which is Jecht's apartment. She is introduced to Jecht, Braska, their wives, etc. And throughout all this, she's finding stuff out about the Farplane.
It seems that there are certain rules to the physics of this place. Since it's the afterlife, naturally there is no pain and suffering, and there is no death. Beings cannot actually inflict pain upon other beings, and of course there is no sickness. However, some weird stuff has been going on, and people have been dying lately in various ways. Auron and the gang are of course suspicious.
Something (I haven't figured it out yet) is going to directly make Auron and Company decide to fix this problem. Along the way, they gain some allies (because their foe is actually very powerful, haven't determined why or who yet, though I do have some ideas).
They meet Belgemine and a halfway reformed Seymour ("I just want to settle down and be dead and defeated in peace, but I can't do that when people are dying. I might die!"), and they all sort of team up to go on their jolly way to fix this whole Death-in-the-Afterlife business.
This is the plotbunny, no, it is NOT even close to being completely developed, but I luff it and I want to write it, and I WILL figure out how to fill all the plot holes.

Hmm, sounds pretty interesting, Pen. Actually, scratch that; it sounds d**n freaking awesome interesting, and I'd hit it so fast it'd be left spinning in confusion an hour later. =P ...Basically, I really want to read it now. XD As for something to make Auron and Co. want to fix the problem... as if their ingrained sense of justice wasn't enough? J/K. The surest way is for one of them to be attacked and escape - of, heck, you could have a throwaway cameo (remember Keyakku? The one who dies when Home is attacked?) to show up and then get promptly killed, galvanizing Rikku (or whomever) to get furious over the redeath of their friend and want to kick the butt of whomever's causing it. Yeah. Also, I am soooo looking forward to semi-reformed Seymour. Maybe because, for some inexplicable reason, he was one of my favorite characters after Auron and Rikku (don't ask me why, to this day I don't know). Y'know what'd be enormously funny? He shows up to help them out of a tight spot (or maybe just shows up) and Rikku immediately slams a fist into his gut or something, out of reflex. XD If you need any ideas, feel free to PM me or something, because I'll readily do everything I can to get this on the net faster. =PAlso: and I'll admit that I was really moved by Soldier of Spira, so I wanted to try my own conspiracy story. OMGOMGOMG Soldier of Spira!! Don't even get me started on how much I love that fic! ;D Anyway, that description sounds cool. WANT.
