*blinks* I didn't really do that again, did I?
*checks* Yes, I did. Oh dear, I'm so sorry Fear. I swear I meant to type F-e-a-r, but my brain must have short-circuited or something and caused my hands to type out L-e-a-f. That must get really annoying... *apologizes*

Ok, double post I know, but people neeeed to see this (Lady V especially) Absolutely gorgeous Zack/Cloud romantic, or just friends, can be taken either way. The song is perfect for them... Cloud pov, how he'd swap places with Zack to let him live in a second. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xexchqI12v4

Ok double post but this is a deadthread... Been looking though my old favourites on youtube and found this... Maybe it's just because I love the song and Tifa, and am less keen on Aerith but I adore this... www.youtube.com/watch?v=CixrzqIMgfc

Has anyone ever had a "Duh!" moment with programs on their computer? I had that moment a day or so ago in iMovie, the program I use to make AMV's on my MacBook (I don't use Windows machines if I can help it...and Macs are just more fun to make movies on). iMovie 6, which is the program I use because it came free with my computer, has the ability to actually slow and speed up clips. This may not seem like a huge deal, except that most of the free or cheap or idiot-proof video editing software out there today can't do that. Ulead, the horrible software I learned how to edit video on, couldn't do this. Hell, Ulead couldn't even manage crossfades. What this means is that I can now give myself a few extra seconds footage if I need to by slowing down a clip, or I can fit an entire scene in where I previously wouldn't have been able to by speeding it up. Even more importantly (and I'm still putzing with this), I can speed or slow the clip to match the time of the music. I'm so ridiculously excited I'm near peeing myself. Instead, I whomped up a video (which I am uploading to youtube and will post a link to later). It's not super good because I'm still getting the hang of it. But yeah. Excited! I feel dumb for having not noticed this before, although I'll admit it was in a weird, out-of-the-way place. But yeah. I took a breather from dealing with the fumes of polyester resin long enough to putz with iMovie and I find this! Maybe I should inhale polyester resin fumes more often. O.o (kidding! Don't try this at home!)

I love watching AMV's. Music+ beautiful pictures = inspiration x10! Well, it does for me, anyway.

Haha, I forgot I uploaded it. I blame the polyester resin fumes, and enamel paint fumes (I'm modding a Nerf Gun as we speak). Anyway, it's a Dirge of Cerberus AMV and it's to "Better Now" by Collective Soul. It's the most un-Vincenty song on the planet so the video is full of unintentional lulz. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dG8nRYPrh-8Edit: I figured I should add the disclaimer that it's not very good, for several reasons. One, I'm still getting the hang of the whole speeding up/slowing down thing. Two, the song really isn't very appropriate. And three, YOUTUBE SUCKS and screws up the quality of every video I upload, no matter what I do as far as trying to up the quality. D:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiUNot big on the whole AMV scene, but this film really captured the spirit and flare of every last one of the characters. It really sums up the fire of Tifa Lockhart, the darkness of Vincent, the petite delicacy of the flower girl. All in one song. The clips are well done. Enjoy.
